Re: T.C.Harrison JCB Sheffield depot open day
Thanks Steve-The look on the young childrens faces during the Dancing Digger dance was amazing and unforgetable !
Perhaps next on the agenda is a JCB Factory visit to the Backhoe Loader production line at Rocester in the near future.I could organise a visit myself to do this depending on members on this site being up for it.Anybody want to accept my invitation ??? Dates to be confirmed but would probably have to be a week day .Let me know !!!

Great set of photos Dave. It was a good day I popped in for a couple of hours on my way to another event.
Sorry - Canot up load any of my photos yet as PC is overflowing & back up drive is acting up.
Only down side was lack of the bigger 360 machines on display, (a few were in the top yard but that was closed of as the display team started up there. Most machines were Mini or compact one's but the Kids loved them till some spoil sport disconnected all the horns.

I had similar when i took our Wrecker to a show - There were people glad when the air pressure dropped a bit and the horns stopped working.

Perhaps the person who disconnected all the horns had a hangover Lets face it kids will always find anything that makes a noise most entertaining.
Sounds like a nice day out just a shame that there were no larger 360 machines on display.

I think the new style contractor has a yellow roof now....not sure though. Ive only seen the Union Jacnk one at hillhead but didnt get a look round it as there was so much attention being given to it!
