Here J C Balls JS330LC that has unfortunately been burnt out! I assume its a total write off!

Thats an expensive 'whoops' when fire takes hold of any type of machine its usually a write off; just depends if you have a lot of patience and a good supply of second hand parts or not?

Due to insurance requirements any part of the machine structure that has been subject to extremes of heat need to be replaced. This would mean the cab and possibly boom would need replaced. IMHO this would be a write off.

Oops looks like it was a bit warm in the cab. Was it working at time or was it arson ?

Looks like a little winter project for somebody - Few bits off fleebay and a couple of tins of paint soon be ready for export. :lol:

As far as I can gather from Tom in the other thread it was working on the nottingham tram extension job! Unsure wether it was actually working when it caught fire
