Many of you will know the name Bedford Trucks , well as soom of you will know it was for many years built in Dunstable , when they closed the doors for the last time the site was rented out whilst plans where made as to what to do with it (it being such a large area) some was sold off to Sainsburys , some to a retail park , the rest was redeveloped into warehouses the final 2 being a 350,000 square foot and a 500,000 square foot.
After a hard day one of the cranes had had enough ...................

It must of been a very hard day for the poor little thing I went back later the same day to watch them lift it unfortunatly camera less but it took 2 much larger cranes and several aborted attempts to get it righted but not something you get to see everyday ! !

I'd have guessed that as it's not laying flat on it's side the outriggers are out on the downward side. It does seem to have gone over rather easily though given there's not much stick out on the jib, made me think perhaps the ground had given way beneath one of the outriggers.

No its wasnt an Ainscough to be honest I cant remember exactly who it was but it wasnt one of the big companies.
