Yes a Gimmy 16 (GM V16 92 Series) nice pics, nice bang too 
The GM V16 was basically two vee 8 engines bolted together, I have re-ground many crankshafts for these engines, main bearings also appeared to fail too............ well from what I recall seeing anyway.
