i used to drive a daff 3300 6 wheel unit back in the 90's. it was c reg and i think at its end of its life.

It went about 16ft. As I recall it would still have been high t'other way round. I did try it but the tracks wouldn't have been square on the bed. You may note that the back end of the shovel is overhanging the tracks of the MF as it is. Also, this gave me more weight over the single drive axle (gawd knows what load that carried!) where I needed it in that weather!

Anyway, we made it.

How would you have loaded this one? (Not mine, I hasten to add!)

This was going from our yard at Hatfield to Cyprus. I often wonder whether he got there.
