Another toasty JCB

Post #1 by Jeremy Rowland » Thu Feb 19, 2009 9:28 pm

Here's one I cooked earlier as they say

Thanks John345me for informing me of the whereabouts of this toasty JS130 which was still smouldering when John passed it.
Sorry the pic ain't brill but moving the sun across the sky is beyond my mortal limitations
This isn't the first JS130 I've seen in this condition wonder why they appear to have pyrotechnic abilities :?:

Jeremy, that JCB it's not located on the Bilston road heading towards Wolverhampton? On a plot of land not far before the former GKN works, where M&J Drilling are doing some grouting?

Yesterday (Tuesday) I drove past this site and the JS in the photo above was still sitting on top of the stockpile of crushed concrete, which is somewhere in the region of 10-15m in height by my reckoning and I thought to myself I wonder how they're going to get it down?

Today I had to go past the site again and this mornng GE Plant Hire were delivering a JZ140 onto the site, where Gunn JCB van was already onsite and when I drove past late this afternoon the JS130 had gone from ontop of the stockpile and I couldn't spot it onsite from the road. I don't know how they got it down, but the stocpile it front had been dug away and heavily disturbed.

This site has been busy the last couple of days, on-site are a JCB JS130 and a Case CX130B together with Thwaites dumpers undertaking excavation and groundworks.
