Iveco Daily stuck.......down a manhole!

This happend on site a few weeks back but have only just gotten them off my phone! It wasnt actually the first time someone had driven down this same manhole.....it happend literally the week before but this one was slightly worse as it was hung up on the wishbone (which had been gouged to buggery!)

no very sensible to leave it with a lid that is not secure ,after it has happen before ,a road plate would be the way to go instead of a lid
could lead to all sorts of bother left like that
every village has one , is yours missing you

Graham is very correct here Joe if somebody fell down that manhole then!! well err Mr Elf & Safety would have many awkward questions that would require answering :shifty: :think:

It was secure on it.....it was waitin to be bricked upand there wasnt supposed to be any deliveries down that side of site as i was trimming stone up down there ready for stone......i know what your saying though!

Could have been worse - could have been someone down the manhole... even the C of the W!
