Kobelco

Post #1 by Martyn Henley » Mon Apr 28, 2008 8:45 pm

I dont think there has been a thread of this company's machine, but in my veiw they made a good excavator, i think they made a big mistake as did Hitachi with their tie up with Fiat.

This 210sk was a few hours old when i took this pic, but at the end of the day and a brush with some rebar, it looked very used.

Yes Martyn,

I agree  I have only spent a short time on Kobelco's but I was impressed with them as I am with all Jap machines

Here's one I did a bit of time in "keeping the seat warm for the next jockey"

got to agree with the above, never driven a kobelco that wasn`t a stunner. worked for a firm who bought an sk210 with 22,000 hours on it, a bloody good machine even after that time.

Hi Folks,

It would be nice to have an opinion on machine operating but sadly I only ever got to operate Hymac's and that was many moons ago now. However I can post some pics of the aforementioned machines.
Both of these Kobelco's were working on the Cradley Heath by-pass. Enjoy

Jeremy

IVe never driven one before and too be quite honest i wouldnt want to be seen in one. I cant stand that green/blue that they use. It looks horrible. I had a look at the New Holland Kobelco's at SED 08 and they dont look that bad.
