i did,nt know there was an akerman 30,the biggest i knew about was an H25, they were very robust machines but painfully slow.

Graham, this is a new inquiry to me, the excavator is somewhere around the 20 tonne mark the owner told me, its at the moment around the Brum area being shifted down to Bristol around monday next week? I have not worked on an Ackerman for some years, although I spotted a fair sized 1 at a Quarry in North Devon a few months back, ihe ones I have worked on had Volvo motors and Rexroth pums?? I think.

p.s. can I ask how the 730 is performing, 2 of CRT'pts have started bleeding oil,1 at about 9 months old the other at about 6 months??? bring back the 420hp

hello tony,
mine is a 620,could have had a 730 but it meant taking the opticruise option and i told huw that it was an unknown quantity in heavy haulage(walters weights) ,so we stuck with what we knew, the truck is in for a couple of days as i am taking a little break ,there has been major problems with manifold bolts actually droping out since day one, there appears to be a batch of 620s that have suspect manifold castings and ours in having the new upgrade, time will tell    .
kind regards graham.

There is no Åkerman 30
Maybe a Åkerman 300 (EC300B?)
If I get more information (exact model, maybe serialnumber) then I can get the info for you!
