Fuchs material handler

Post #1 by SRB » Thu Mar 13, 2008 3:19 pm

Went out to look at cross hiring a Fuchs Material handler, a few pics of the beastie i looked at.
Don't know any details on model but i'm sure our resident "Steptoe" Mr Rowlands may be able to enlighten us.

These were taken in Walsall, West Mids.

Nice pictures, Stuart, looks like you'd need shares in the hydraulic hose manufacturer to run one of those.

Nice pics Stuart

Funny looking Cat that one

Looks like an MHL340 to me :geek: I can think of two yards at Walsall that use Fuchs the one is off the Pleck road and the other is EMR on the former Bradleys and Fosters iron works.
The EMR site is huge with a vast array of kit mainly Liebherr and Fuchs, so which yard were these pics taken in :?:

I had one on hire for a day to scrap a D8.It belonged to Victoria Metals of Widnes.I will find some pics.It was very strong for it's size.It chucked lumps of D8 about like sponges!

It should be a standard machine with the attachment just pinned on, WM Plant, who specialise in long reach excavators did a similar job last year down South Wales with a 345.
