Hi Guys,

Does anyone know anything about the performance of these zero tailswing machines from Cat.

I would be very interested to hear anything about them

Never had anything at all to do with them mate. Iam sure there mechanically very similar to the non - zero - tail - swing model.

SRB's the man for them I reckon.

Yes Ross,

Stuart is on the case mate !! I rang him today and he was in Scotland putting some big kit onto a barge then sailing with it for 10 hours :dizzy: He is going to post pics of that next week ....Looking forward to them!!

Anyway he is going to check out some 314's for me next week when he gets back to the yard in Cannock

Hi Stuart,

I did email you yesterday before I rang but I have been looking on the Finning used section a bit closer since and have found some nice looking examples....

Theres one in Cardiff that looks like brand new but I would not be happy with the style of Q-hitch on it but I guess that could be changed?
Stock no..CU808836 with 924 hrs on the meter

Others listed at Cannock or Winsford are ...
Stock no CU696918 with 1175 hrs
" " " " CU601486 with 1330 hrs
" " " " CU709741 with only 612 hrs !!

One question my Mrs has just asked is how come there are so many of these low houred 314's in the yards at the moment, have they been finance snatchbacks? or is there some other reason :dizzy:

Would be interested to see the cab interiors as well (My office!!)

Nick
