New 325D Coal shovel

Post #1 by SRB » Mon Nov 26, 2007 6:23 pm

New addition to the fleet, a 325D coal shovel, going out tomorrow, was asked the question if it would load into 777s, so tramped down the yard for a bit of a trial......

Yeah sometimes they load 777s with them shovels. Shotgun loading is the best.

Woo UK Coal buying new kit again? Not to many since they bought the TR100s a few year back.

Theres an 325 on site with a retro-fitted O&K RH9 stick, Bucket and croud ram fitted. Made By CPPS (Crouch Plant Support Services) The ram snapped last week and we had to change the dam thing.

Wouldnt it take forever to load a 777 with that one?

I have seen pics of 325 coal shovels in mines that use 777 and PC3000 backhoes.. pretty big difference in size...
