Cracking stuff Brian!!!

I cant believe that old girl is just lying around like that !! :dizzy: It looks in pretty good shape for its age :o

I would love to know more about it :insomnia:

I guess that there must be something seriously wrong with it mechanically to be lying around like it is :?

Nick

Nick
I don,t know what the story is with this machine, but no other machine has come onto the site to replace it.But i agree that it looks in fair condition for it's age. What was the production run for this model?

Sadly I am not sure of the production run of this machine !! Maybe Jeremy Rowland will know ??

I just have fond memorys of operating a 220 when I was about 13 yrs old and loving it !!

Used to do a couple of hours every night backfilling with one when I came out of school in the good old days !!

Yet another great shot Brian

That looks like an old Mustang 120 that has had a respray and been given decals from the Sanderson/Priestman era :dizzy:

She sure looks to be in a bad way with a double track off scenario

Nick

Hi there Nick and Brian, well I must say that I'm no expert on Priestman production numbers and whilst I have seen many Mustang 120's in my time and there's a 108S just down the road from where I live, I can't give you a production numbers for the 220 all I can say is that they are as rare as hens teeth so Nick if you want to save one I would pretty soon before they are consigned to the history books.

The Sanderson colour scheme of the Mustang above could well be original, as I'm failry sure there was a period after Sanderson bought Priestman were they were still building the old style Mustang's before the later designs with VC cabs were introduced.
