Those 5 photos are very much appreciated d4c24a, I do like the at work shots.

Is the dumper a Thwaites?

Yeh Great Priestman photos Graham !! :thumbs_up:

The dumper in the photos is indeed a Thwaites, I think it is a what used to regarded as their 3 tonner, we used to run those when I worked for Wimpey Plant in Southampton, at the time I think they were the biggest dumpers they made :shock:

Thanks for sharing those Lewis!!

The poor old sprockets look like they had definetely seen better days eh!!

It never ceases to amaze me how many of these old machines of all makes, shapes, & sizes are lying around the countryside :dizzy: Since I became involved on these websites I am always looking out for them as I drive around on my way to & from work, only today I spotted an old Poclain 60 in a field just outside Exeter, sadly I didnt have my camera with me and it was too far out of range for my mobile :cry:

I must get up to Threlkeld this year to have a good look around and maybe have a go on one.
I was offered a Priestman Beaver a few years back,but don't think it would have got up my driveway.
