I've been looking around on this site to find the picture of that Priestman Mustang wheeled scrap handler at York; also to recall what model of excavator it is (think a 2-11?).
What's the deal with the green line on the machines shown on some pictures? Did Priestman change their livery somewhat after the Mustang machines came into being?

Re: PRIESTMAN EXTRAVIGANZA "YELLOW ERA"
Hi Gavin,
If it was a 2 series Priestman duck it would have been a 2-11 like mine. There were only six of them built before Priestman went out of business and I know at least one was rigged for scrap handling.
The last of the 150 ducks were turned out in the Sanderson Yellow and stripes too. We painted everything the same even the lorrys.
The green stripes were just a colour we later addopted for another of our companies.

Its sods law that when you're looking for that particular something, then you just can't find it...
The only picture I've been able to find of this particular machine is here:
Looking at only this picture and other google image search results for the 2-XX series of machines, I'm not entirely sure now; could it be an earlier model maybe? The only other wheeled Priestman that I can recall is the Mustang 90. There are pictures of a scrap handling version of that model kicking around - albeit in the older orange colour scheme.
Best regards
Gavin

Hi Gavin,
Thats an Mustang150 which is the wheeled version of the 120 MkIII. They stopped building them about 1986/7 when the 2-Series came out.

I like the PC150 . If you want one for restoration or work I know where there is an original one with 7500 hours on it and the original undercarriage. It'll go to the furnace unless a good home can be found!
