Leibherr 9800 excavator
Here a new 9800 excavator recently put to work in Qld.Aus.
bucket is rehandling type 47 cu.m. engines QSK Cummins 2x 2000 hp. (MTU are an option. This machine was demonstrated at Conexpo in U.S.A. then shipped out to Aus. The first in field operation.You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Hi Bruce, no she's a bit high in the sky on a waste dump but not far from the drowned dragline. The ladder at the front is the fire escape. these machines burn from the back end.

I don't suppose you have anymore photo's of her Ray? Anything and everything... in-cab, assembly etc. Would love to see the way the control valves and pumps set up.

Snap shots of the first face shovel version.
The yard was a bit cluttered so difficult to get a really good picture but you'll still get a good idea of the sheer scale. Superstructure reminds me of an ocean liner
