Nice machine it's not an ex Thornes one is it? I know they had a couple of 812 and one 820 too. Is the Grey Cab 3cx for sale.

Not sure if it was Thorne's, could find out. The JCB 3CX might be? I'll keep you posted. Why David.......do you want to convert your newly painted 2 wheel drive one to 4 wheel drive?! :lol:

Clive I fancy another project and a have plenty of paint left over :lol: i may sell my one while it looks good or before the wife gets me moving the muck heap!

A bespoke demolition excavator from JCB for Coleman & Co:
To carry out this work we joined forces with another local company JCB. JCB have designed a specialist demolition rig that meets a series of requirements imposed by our design team Coleman Engineering Services. The machine is a one off bespoke hybrid excavator combining two different machines to form one. The base of a 22t machine and the top of an 18 tonner. The machine will carry a NPK 4t attachment, be remote control, rubber pads, LED lighting for night vision, Formula 1 style safe fuel system, three piece modular boom, range control, on board auto fire fighting equipment, on board dust suppression finally with a jet ski style emergency stop pull chord all working within a infra red barrier system that should the machine stray off the working area the barrier system turns the machine off. Yes this machine was on demonstration at Hillhead I meant to post some piccies of it; it's fully remote controlled as well and was one of two machines that I saw that Coleman had on display at the show the other being a new large Liebherr machine, I will try and post pics of the two machines later.

Yes, the JS330 (supposedly JCB designed) replaced the Sumitomo designed JS300.
