Hi Peter,

Thank you very much for the information  Sounds like it must of been a nightmare to operate that machine :dizzy:

But I bet that even being that difficult to operate for a farmer it is still better then doing the job by hand!!

Nick :P

Thank you Peter, sounds complicated, mind you the early JCB's 360's were complicated as well.. i remember my first go on a Akerman H7 ..that had loads of buttons and micro switches ..

Yeah,
That freakin pedal for the swing wasnt any fun at all!
Only good thing about their system was that due to that one only pushed or pulled the leavers one didnt get any aches in them shoulders!
The modern system wher one move them joysticks outwards for swing right and empty bucket are rael shoulder killers.
I know since I have operated this system since I started out in -79.
But some gym visits and massage has got me backin working order again! :D

Looking at the geometry of the boom and hydraulic ram lift arrangement indicates that this machine could probably do some serious penatrative digging as the leverage is all made to force downwards - However when lifting a large sticky bucket of clay or difficult bolder from a trench the geometry set up wold not be so favourable as the rams have the full force of gravity to lift. :ugeek:

Slight Priestman 120 look about it ;)

It would be great to see more of these rare (to the UK anyway) Scandanavian based machines, ie Landsverk, Lokomo, & Lannen.

Over to our Northern friends! ;) :D

Hi!

If you change from classicmachinery to http://www.maskinisten.net and search for Landsverk or Lännen you can find a few photos there. I´m unsure about Lokomo but try it and se if nothing happen. You must write "ä" if you search for lännen. If you use lannen you got no responce.
