Kubota K020

Post #1 by Plantparts » Mon Nov 08, 2021 8:50 pm

Hello, I have a Kubota K020 nd am looking for a swing drive, or a part number so i can hunt further, this machine is an Import here in the UK so im having trouble finding parts. Im hoping someone could possibly point me in the correct direction. It really just needs a new "gear box" and i put that in quotes because its really just a spacer it seems.

Hi Gareth and welcome  is there a decent hydraulics company near to you they may be able to help? Just a thought.

I have looked, as well as got in touch with the local Kubota dealerships, but because of the age of the machine and the fact that it is an import they are unable to help unfortunatly, ive been trying my luck with suppliers in the USA but again no luck, tomorrw im going to try a company called Terrapart.

Do you know which part of the slew drive has failed, is it the hydraulic side or the mechanical/gear side, if its a gear you could get one made at a local engineering company? Just an idea.

Hi Jeremy.
As above the back actor moves very slowly which makes me think it's a hydraulic fault if the splines in the king post or shaft were gone/stripped I don't think it would move, ( kind of grasping at straws here).
Norm.

thats the weird thing, there is a crack in the "gear Box" and i say that with parethases because its more of a spacer , there arent any gears in it, its just a long motor shaft with a gear at the end of it.
