Nice pics Fred :claphands:  I see you made it up to the Vintage Excavator Trust then I must make an effort and go there myself one day the 110RB looks interesting could you go in the machines cab or main housing? I would love a look round that one myself.

It's rope excavator nirvana Jeremy  in a stunning location, well worth combining with a break in the Lakes.
Plus loads of other stuff and on non working days you're just allowed to roam freely which is a rarity these days.
Got to wonder how much will ever get restored though as there is so much , but at least it's all escaped the gas axe !

If its escaped the gas axe then at least it still exists to be restored just like many of the old steam loco's that were at the Barry scrap yard.

I always hope to go but something always comes up, (Hols arranged by wife, weddings, this time dental troubles). Likewise Neath. I gather at VED they have a working 933G, & one year a Bristol Taurus came along. Any crawlers / loaders this time? I did myself operate an old semi hydraulic Cub backhoe on a tile waste tip about 40 yrs ago. Recently staying Nr Leeds I came across the old Smith - Rodley works, externally pretty much as it was when the last machine was built
