hymac late 80s

Post #1 by spannermannottingham » Sat Jul 29, 2017 10:03 pm

anyone remember hymac 121/141 fitted with bogmaster tracks that worked digging peat (i know , not now good for the environment) at hatfield, thorne or kirkbride in the late 80s . i sometimes put my toolbox on the narrow gauge rail (i think it was a drema engine) and made my way into the moor ,after working all day if i needed to finish off a repair the following day it was easier to hide the box under a tree and walk back to the van.happy days. john riches.
