Hymac 580D
Took these in a field near to me the machine has been there for some time and apparently it was last used a while ago to drag that tractor to its present position.

Nice pics Norman 
she's not in bad condition for a 1982/3 machine good chance she is a Rhymney built 580D as opposed to an NEI built machine.

Actually I've never seen it move ,I'm guessing the tractor is in need of some TLC as its still attached to the excavator, A local told me that the guy who owned them was trying to sell the whole field etc. would the 580D have the Ford 6d in it?.

Hi Norman; no the 580D is fitted with a Perkins 6,354 engine.
