Re: HYMAC 380
Yes he has, it is waiting to be sign written and final paint on the running gear.It may be going to a show in Carmarthenshire next month. It looks if it just come out of the factory.Behind this machine is a German built 85 Drott loader that is also under restoration. It will be joined shortly by a BTD6 Drott with Wainroy back acter. Will post pictures of that machine.
Between a small group of us we have amassed a large collection of classic plant. From D9G down to D2's,tracked loaders & rollers and a scraper and farm tractors. And not forgetting the tank

Re: HYMAC 380
Very good Martyn if you get details of the show I would take the trouble to go and see the finished 380
so if it is going to the show I would love to go along and get me some snaps of the finished machine myself.
Cheers mate.

Re: HYMAC 380
Well folks I made it down to the All Wales Truck and Transport Show today at Carmarthen. Twas 162miles down there from where I live good journey though so no complaints.
Of course my real reason to be there was Richard Goulds restored Hymac 380 which is now owned and has been completed by Barry Cosslett.
I did manage to have a chat with Barry who is of course a friend of Martyn Williams and I got quite a few shots of the machine, along with the Hymac apprentice built model 580.
On the back of his lowloader and back to back with the 380 was his Smalley 425 which Martyn has already posted a picture of in this forum, its now complete and also looks the part.
Martyn said that Barry was not happy with the 380 tracks being painted yellow and Barry confirmed this saying that he intended having them re-painted black.
Enjoy
