Evening all.

Just registered, so here we go with the first enquiry.

Any photos/details of The Dredging & Construction Co. of Kings Lynn would be appreciated.

I don't have any photos, but I understand that Dredging & Construction after briefly being renamed Visser & Smit Hanab is now called Volkerinfra: http://www.volkerinfra.co.uk/

Yes, that's correct. They seem to move headquarters in this country around quite a lot! I've got some information and photos from a Kings Lynn Forum, but I'm particularly after shots of draglines and shovels (have a few, from a railway magazine, a book about the River Great Ouse, and The Bedfordshire Times archive), Commer tippers and dropsides, Series II Land Rovers, a Humber pick-up (I don't think I'm making that one up!), ex military Scammell Pioneer, and an Allen of Oxford 6-wheel crane truck.

Also wanted, a photo of a 'Big' Bedford 'S' Type artic. of Jacob, Ringstead, who did some work for them.
