Here's a pic of three of the Roughcastle Cats when they were quite new, and before two of them had serious damage inflicted on the body extension over the cab/engine area!

How time flies, the wee lass is my daughter, now a meteorologist! :shock:

Nicky, we must have passed each other on that site, as I was there almost every day at lunchtime taking pics of the 485 being assembled!

Who had the cab-less D8s and boxes when the site started?

I CAN REMEMBER TRAVELLING THROUGH FROM TRANENT TO ROUGHCASTLE TO SEE THAT WORKING IT COULD DIG 2 777S SIDE BY SIDE IN UNDER A MINUTE, DUNCAN ANGUS'S KOMATSU VAN . HOW TIME FLYS.

Duncan was a top class fitter and mate.I worked with him a few times mainly on motorscraper and towed box work.he knew his winches :thumbs_up:
