The A38 Dobwalls Bypass

I took these picture last week when i was working down at the dobwalls bypass in cornwall, as you can see all the machines are stationary, due to rather alot of wet time we have had recently! only trouble is all these machines still need paying for!

I cant believe JOHN JONES is still going ! when i was young they were doing a huge reclamation project in telford and they had the most amazing fleet of CAT D400 ATD`s and i used to sit and watch then cross a main road in convoy....and best of all at night they parked them next to my grandads house lol near the site.

John Jones are owned by Norwest Holst and i'd say they are close 2nd to Blackwell's when it comes to bulk muckshiftng.

I think that roller may be an Ingersoll Rand but I cant be sure :?
