Hi to all,i`m still alive  Not been on for a while.
Just a quick update.Finished at Bayston Hill now. They brought my Montabert hammer up to me when they collected the crusher,& spent a week in Bayston Hill rock breaking, then down to Hereford/Powys to the other quarrys where i usally go.Still with "my" ZX350/3,which has`nt missed a beat, apart from worn track chains.
Now after 7 mths away,i`m back home this week, back in Wainwrights quarry in Somerset with the crusher i had in Shrewsbury. My Hitachi going back to the yard for some track repairs while i`m on holiday next week.
Wainwrights took delivery of a brand new Cat 365 CL yesterday,in standard boom/stick,not ME spec.It looks very nice.I`ve plenty of pics of the new Cat & final pics of Bayston Hill that i`ll add soon when i get a bit of time :)
We crushed just under 90000 tons in the end.

The CAT 365, is it a replacement for their Liebherr R954?

Better late than never
Heres the last few pics as we pulled out of Bayston Hill in July.As you can see from the previous photos,i made some good progress through the area.We crushed just under 90000 tons in the end.Spent a week or so after the crushing with the hammer on the ZX350,then on to Hereford again, before a week in Wainwrights on a Volvo L110E.Since i came back from holiday i started a new crushing & screening job on Portland in Dorset.WITHOUT "my"ZX350
Will start a new topic about Portland :)

ahh yes ive heard about this 330.........and by the sounds of things you had rather poor service from your dealer and also jcb. I used to work with the guys from gunns at shrewsbury, and also have spoken to them about this machine many times.....think you know a couple of the guys that have been out to it, ian and also chris?? but reading the horror stories it sounds like holts could have done more.....but i wont go there!! So do u still have the machine??

As far as i know the machine is still in Yeomans quarry in Somerset, with the driver who`s Hitachi ZX350 i got in exchange.I`ve heard that he really likes the JS 330.Yeomans is only about 15 miles from our base so is a lot nearer if any thing goes wrong with the JCB.I know when it left me it spent 2 weeks in our yard with JCB trying to solve the problem.I have not heard of any problems with it since. :)
