Cold night on the railway

Post #1 by martyn williams » Tue Dec 22, 2009 3:49 pm

Had a busy night last night. When I got back to my base at 0530 today, the lock was frozen to the yard gates.Had to urinate over the lock to get in.Good job that worked othewise I would have to wait two hours for the day shift to arrive :dizzy:
Back in tonight for another 12 hour turn. These newer locomotives don't like cold weather.
