Britian Britian Britian...

Post #1 by Niklas Eriksson » Sun Aug 05, 2007 4:39 pm

Hello everybody!

I have been on vecation this week in London. I have walked around the streets of London for about 5 days and I have seen afew machines. Lucky I had my camera with me! Although there was construction sites almost everywhere there was very little machines used. And if they used machines it was mainly compact ones. But I have seen alot of construction cranes.

Although the pictures I am posting here is just afew of all the machines I have seen. Many of them I wasnt able to photograph as I saw them from the window of an aircraft or train.
For example I have seen a CAT 365 excavator at Heathorw airport, a CAT 245 excavator on the train from London to Heathrow airport. I have also seen many Fuchs material handlers. I think I saw a CASE material handler aswell, bit rare I guess!
I have also seen a Volvo L60/70F wheelloader from the window of my train home when I arrived in Sweden again... shame I wasnt able to take a pic of it since it was my first F-series loader...

Some pics are taken with my mobilephone so the aint very good.

Hi Niklas,

Looks like you had a great time in London taking photos of machines!! ha ha :D

Hope you enjoyed your vacation...London is good for the tourists but I prefer to stay out of the place it is crazy up there!! I have worked in London a couple of times but that is enough for me it is simply too busy.

Hope you managed to see everthing you wanted too??

Nick

Hi!

Yeah it was a pretty crazy town. hehe oh yes I got to see all I wanted to, except Harrods but I dont mind that much.
