Mitchell Construction Kinnear Moodie Group went out of business in the early 70s and were taken over by Tarmac.

My dad drove an Atkinson 8 wheel tipper for Alexander Morrison Builders in Tain in the mid 70s and it had been bought second hand from Mitchell.

Mitchell had a plant yard on London Road in Glasgow.

Mitchell was an English company but undertook a lot of work in Scotland including the nuclear submarine base on the Clyde and hydro dams in the Highlands.
