As Martin50 said he's working on his site up at Grantham. Martin he 's a really nice bloke and when you see him ask him if he remembers Jim who drove the Case cx130 and a dumper for Bill Daniels down at Langage Power Station, give him my regards will you and ask him if he's going to work at Hinkley Point Power station in somerset for kiers at some point?

Quite a few pics of Pryor's TS14s and D8s and boxes stripping for a gravel pit at Roxwell near Chelmsford in the early 60s .
Have posted some on this forum in the past so they must be lurking somewhere!

Hi ,I used to work for Pryors for about 17 years from 1966 to 1983,I was on the 637s ,631s and ts14s.Started on an old Drott at Rainham, then went on a 951 and on to the scrapers, first job was at Roxwell pits where I think Dave Pledger was push loading with a cat 52a.Joe Pitts and Snowy White where on the other scrapers.Anyone remember Harry Cole,Ken Rand,Peter Chapman, and Ron Futcher. Hi Modelman093, second from the left is Harry Cole, third along is John Kitchener,Russel (cat 235) would know him very well,I think the first one might be Denny Ellender who showed me the ropes on the ts14.I got put on a 631b on the Hoddesdon Bypass after the euc rear axle broke ,thats what happens when you try to keep up with 631s and 637s on a long haul.
