To be honest I'm more shocked that Hewden have bought something that CAT makes- perhaps Hewden's customers were demading the best and until now having to make do with CAT?

I don't think it really matters what JCB stick on the side of the machine....people will still buy it regardless because of the price and service and if like us, just repaint the whole machine anyway and sod the manufacturers name.
The CAT telehandler is now only badge enginneering so knowing Hewden and the dire straights they are in it makes financial sense to buy the JCB product which is what the hirer wants ! Not simply because it may help the bottom line of their parent companies marriage to CAT. Remember Finning need to try and fatten the goose before trying to hock it off to a shark....they need the figures to look attractive and can't afford to pay for window dressing anymore.

Re: OMG JCB
I that a JS330 or 360?
It seems now the JS cabs have gone completely black, the engine bonnets have gone fro black to yellow as well
I know JCB have been gradually introducing the new logo- but I reckon they've been doing it with little fuss so they can make a big splash at Bauma?
