Hi anyone out there can help with any old photos? specifically Foden low loader from mid to late fifties and what model it was, because it was the one my dad used to drive.
Also any photos of the pool covert open cast coal site at Wrexham, my brother drove a Euclid R27 dump truck ther in the early sixties.

don't think it was, I was told it was pool covert, it was located just to the right of where the Ruthin road crosses the w/ham by pass if you are heading to langollen, the coal dug out was carried on a specialy constructed road to Bersham, last time I looked you could just see the remains of the road. I do have a lot of memories going there at weekends with my late Brother who drove a Euclid R27 rear dump truck. This was about 1961/62.

I live by the other large opencast that used to be in the area - NSM operated it. From Acrefair, inbetween Wrexham & Llangollen to the back of another local village. I work with another fitter who might remember your brother - ex Blackwwod Hodge, so I will ask him tomorrow.

cheers wxmman his name was bob hale, all the Euclid dump trucks had Blackwood Hodge on the doors, so I presume on hire from them or supplied by them? Blackwood Hodge had a stores on site with there own partsman, I remember going in there and being amazed at the size of the parts, I remember asking the guy (sorry can't remember his name) why they had a spare bonnet? its because the bloody driver on the 110 RB keeps dropping bloody lumps on them, ask a silly question but I was only eleven.

i worked under billy wrennalls on A1 upgrade round pontefract back in 05-06, his son cant remember his name? was on a 365?
