Alan Diamond.Were you a fitter at the A34 Wilmslow Bypass?I had some D8's on hire to Mac's and may have spoken to you.
I have other business interests these days but sill run some tractor and boxes as long as the drivers still want to.They are retired now but still do a three day week.
You may find my thread 'some scheduled maintenance' of some interest

i worked 4 mcalpines in the 1980,s mick dooher mick masterson johhny regan john beardsworth (the bull) paul cabaine where the bosses sure more names will come 2 me as i rack my brain these names ring any bells 2 any of the mcalpines fusiler out there i was on the DDH biggest construction project in europe at the time good ole days
