Jack Branch (cambridge)

Post #1 by Jackson65 » Sun Jan 26, 2014 7:46 pm

Does anybody have any old photos from this company who did a lot of earthmoving near my home in St.Neots in the early seventies.
They ran quite a few Thames trader 4 wheelers with steel bodies.
They also ran some B100 drotts and i also remember them getting a brand new Hymac 360.
I spent all of my spare time , when not at school, with one driver of a thames trader, called Cyril. You wouldnt be allowed nowadays, but I loved every minute. Theit tippers were painted in green and yellow. I wonder if any one has any old photos?

Thanks, Craig, that takes me back. They had a distinctive green and yellow livery. I also remember one of the drivers getting a brand new D series Ford. This was quite modern in comparison to the fleet of traders they were running at the time.
