Lafarge, Mountsorrel quarry

Some photos taken of the plant at work at Lafarges granite quarry, Mountsorrel in Leicestershire. These were taken 2 years ago whilst the first of their RH120Es was being built.

Sweet photos Argie, i like the green/red paint scheme on those machines, that 988F has moved about a bit, it once worked at the Thrislington quarry near Ferryhill, i only managed to get a couple of pics of it before Lafarge seemed to subby out all the work to local companies who now use Bell ADT's and Daewoo shovels, shame really because i love cat 988's

I will have to get a look up there and get some pics of the D9L working, Who does the machine belong to? The only D9L that i've seen recently in the North East belongs to Becher but that is working for UK Coal !
