Hello All,
Bit more progress on the Challenger this week, got the tank off, cleaned out and sand-blasted.
Sprayed the bottom of the tank, cleaned down and spraying the back of the machine before it goes back on. I'll be finishing bits with Fowler orange later this week.
I took advantage of the tank being off to strip, clean and grease all the clevis pins on the clutch and brake control linkages too.
Had Fowlers for 40 years and never had a tank off one before.
Here are some more progress photos.

Hi All,
Just the battery boxes to sort out now, :D and precleaner mushroom to make or buy.
Anyone have a mushroom type precleaner with or without dust bottle and outlet connection about 100 mm. (4 ins) to sell :?: :?: Please give me a shout. ( One from an old D7 would be fine).
I can easily get a modern one with plastic bowl, but I want to keep it looking original.
Here are todays photos.

Hello again,
The first of the two battery boxes is ready to put on now, though I still have to make a new tool drawer for it. Here are a few progress photos.
