Technical discussions welcome

Post #1 by Holger » Sun Jun 24, 2007 10:38 pm

Hi,

I just want to point out that this forum is not only an images-site.
Of course any images are highly appriciated, but if you have any technical questions, those are very welcome too! :geek:

Hello Holger,
I have put a youtube video of fitting tracks as some have never seen this done. Most on this site have got a good techincal background anyway and can work their way out of a problem with their machines.I think the technical interest will get better in time when more join the site.I have been on Redpower site for many years and we share a lot of ideas on overcoming restoration problems. Its a very big subject, from engines, hydraulics, transmission.Would you like members to explain how they restored their machines? Will there be a technical question and answer section.
Regards
Martyn

Hi Martyn,

of course it would be VERY interesting to hear about the retorations! Maybe with some photos.
Well, do we need a special technical section? Maybe.
I thought the technical discussions can run in the existing forums.

I am a little bit afraid that we will be a PHOTOS-ONLY site soon.
Dont get me wrong! I LOVE the photos posted here! And I would love them continue to come!
But there need to be a little balance.

Maybe you are right! We will wait and see! :D

Thank you for being here!

/Holger
