PMs

Post #1 by IANOZ » Sat Nov 28, 2009 4:00 pm

Hi Holger, I was looking in my personal messages and i saw it says there are two messages in the outbox.Does that mean the messages have not been opened and read at the other end by the people i sent them to .Or for some reason they were never sent in the first place . ian.

Maybe.
Maybe the users just have not visited the site.
Or they have a popup-blocker and do not see the indication of the number of new PMs in the inbox.
Many maybes ...

Hi Holger ,Each time i get a PM from someone on the site i also get notifyed by email ,which i assumed was standard practise for the site So unless their computer is down or they aswell as not visting the site have not checked their emails Since i sent the PM.I don't know .One was to farmer jo who asked about spare parts for her little loader.I posted a parts supplyer for her, but notice she had not been back on since she posted . I then sent the PM but now you say it has not been read. Hopefully there is a good reason why she has not been back. ian.

You can turn the notification via email off.
Just resend the PM and see if that helps.
