Hi Robban! Thank you for your help!
The hoster is located in Switzerland (hostpoint.ch).
I dont think it makes sense to argue with them, but I HAVE written them an email and asked them to prove theire claim.

They have not even pointed out in which area the problem is.

But, to be honest, many of my programmer-fellows warned me to choose a hoster again. We should have choosen a Dedi- or Root-Server at the first point.

Bosse, thank you for the idea. But we should concentrate on getting it up and running again.
It gets too complicated to have many members from Maskinisten log in here. It will only make the memberlist a mess. ;-)

Maybe, but that way will take very long time!
So, we are looking for alternatives already.
One choice could be server4you.de ... but "buying" a root-server might end up in that we are forced to sell and show ads in the forum.

You know what I think about ads.
I´m watching a serie on channel four right now. They have commercials now and then. That´s life, if I want to watch the serie I have to accept the ads as they are paying for showing the series.
If ads are needed for running Maskinisten then we will have ads and I wish you all luck in finding those sponsors.
