**PROBLEMS WITH CONNECTION** Sunday 5th July

Hi all
We are having a problem with site connection, site is live for about half an hour then goes offline for about 10 mins then its back on ... i would advise ALL posters to copy any posts there are writing, use the left hand button on the mouse to highlight your post, then right click and on menu click copy .... that will stay on your system untill you either paste the copy onto post or switch off, if you are going offline yourself then paste your post onto windows notepad for future.
I cannot say how long this problem will go on for.

Martyn I have had problems posting both on CMN & Maskinisten however I must admit that it does vary and I think thats why sometimes the site is working slowly.
I have advised Holger about this so I'm sure he's on the ball and will get any problems sorted quickly.

This was more of whole site going off line for about 10 mins then back on again .. there was 18 people online at one point, site went offline then came back 10 mins or so and every one had gone .. i think there was a couple members writing a post at one point, that went as well.

Hi,

this was due to an attack at Maskinisten. As the sites are on the same machine it also affected CMN.
The machine blocked the attacks, but we had a database-failure (fixed) and we still have a hardware failure. One of the harddisks is damaged and will be swapped.
