Yeah bigkit lol there is

http:- is the stock standard browser protocol that's been about since the 90s, it's changed a bit but "in english," basically it's the same as an open work site that any visitor can go and see the foreman first should they need to visit other areas of the work site.

https:- is a secure protocol for the browser, it is much like the sort of work site that typically is completely fenced with a solid barrier, with someone on each gate, no one gets in unless they are an approved visitor or sign in. No one from the road gets to see what goes on inside the site.

Bertram well lol I guess if you visited the link, you would probably not have realised the description contained within would have been penned more than 10 years ago. Netscape is an old browser. Despite being a rether old dexcription, it is very apt in expressing the anger some people like myself feel, where the noise to text ration of a web site is very high to accommodate some pretty stuff, which is common to many sites online these days, all for the sake of dressing up the site. An english version is, someone instead of sending a simple straight forward telegram or postcard, they opt to have a stone mason craft their message on a polished ten ton slab of marble though some won't settle for anything under 100 ton slab. In order to read the message one would have to have the appropriate crane to get it off the delivery truck.

Im using the latest version of firefox. If I type in www.classicmachinery.net into the search bar, all I get is a blank page.

I have to add /forum on the end to get here... Same with Internet Explorer. Anyone else have this issue ??

Tried it on all three of my laptops, and its the same
