hi everyone .
hi peeps my name is malc this is right up my street ,worked on the m27 southampton to portsmouth as a chain boy in early 70s they brought in 627s and 657s scrapers ,watched them work there magic and was just blown away ,the way they went about their work was somthin to see i was hooked all iv ever wanted to do was watch them and hear that high piched wine ,now my dream is to drive one ,but the next best thing is to learn about them so here i am .best wishes Malc R.

hi martyn , well i had just left collage when i got a start at Mcalpines bit green under the coller back then i went on to pass my hgv class 1 now trunk up to birmingham every day but cant forget my time on m27 ,lived close to the site so i couled hear the big cats whining from my back garden ,never got to meet any of the drivers which i regret now ,i wished i was one of them but this site is the next best thing BEST WISHES .
