Hello from Hampshire

Post #1 by Dieseldog1978 » Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:38 am

A big hi from Hampshire.

Been skulking for a while, I used to work on heavy plant, started out on an A25a for Lee bros, graduated onto his old CAT 225 and the D6D, boosted over to Pryors for a taste of the big jobs and spent a while on a 450 Komatsu & CAT 330C all over the South.

After being made redundant in 08 I pushed off abroad, not in plant but horses.

Came home in 2016 and been bouncing around the construction sector on 13 tonners, Hitachi, Hyundai & JCB 16 tonners.

I'm itching to get back on some proper muck shifting, this lot thing 150 cube/day is good :dizzy: I was used to 5,000 cube/day with 2 A30s

I was gutted to see Pryors had gone by the wayside in Jan 2016 :(

Thinking about looking at Searle in the spring for start? Not sure whose doing what these days but I need more than this to keep me occupied lol

Thanks.

I have been making a few calls to see what and where folks are working, not an incredible amount going on in the country and certainly nothing of any size.

Hmmm, still got a job so there is no stress there, keep looking until something I fancy turns up, ideally looking for something that will see me get on a dozer from time to time, get's boring only sitting in a 360 day in day out.
