I have to say, I've never hid the fact that I never liked the T282Bs, but these new C trucks are worlds better. We have two on site in a trial capacity, and they are doing much better than their predecessors. I still am not fond of the braking systems, and I don't care for the visibility with the operator sitting as far back in the cab as they do, but those are to only real faults I can find with them so far.

Had the opportunity to sit in one of those at last years Minexpo... and what a truck they are! although i have to agree with Greasemonkey on the visibility issue, the biggest truck i have ever driven was a 777 and that took abit of getting used to not only in terms of size and space awareness but just how light the steering was etc, if you ever get the chance to sit in one of these or any ultra class size dump truck then do it! your blind spot at the front must be somewhere around 5 to 10 meters? these T282C also come with [pardon the technical term] "sleep recognition software" this system monitors the muscles in the operators face and for how long they blink if this falls below a certain level then the warning system kicks in and brings the truck to a halt? am sure its not a new thing and seem to remember hearing about it elsewhere but its the first time i had seen such a thing in person
