Terex S-24s in NZ.

Post #1 by dozeron » Thu Jun 28, 2007 1:14 pm

Two of three S-24s & two 627s that were on a road job in NZ in 1994 along with a Hitachi digger and two IHC PH95 haulers. Hauling to a massive fill for SH1 that runs from the city of Auckland down to the capital city, Wellington. Foreman gave me the run of the job, went where I wanted in my Toyota ute, no problems, jeeze, those days are now long gone.

Hi Holger,
I was born in NZ, lived there until 1996 when my wife and I decided to move to Australia where we now live. My dad was an earthmoving contractor and I did a diesel apprentiship, worked in mines, construction jobs and tunnels until we moved here. Now no longer in the industry but still luv the old gear.
regards, Dozeron

Hi Ray,
No It is a big fill at Tamehere just a few clicks south of Hamilton. Bakers had the job. One of the last jobs I saw the Green Lizards.
Regards, Ron.
