HELP!!

Post #1 by argie » Sat Mar 05, 2011 11:50 pm

I'm wondering if anyone out there knows of any company operating rigid trucks in the UK with a capacity of 50 to 80 tonnes.
I already have a Komatsu HD605, Terex TR70, Cat 775F and Terex TR60. Are there any others still operational in the UK Aveling Barford, Hitachi, Euclid?
Many thanks
Paul

Hi Paul,
Merrimans at Ripley,Derbyshire have at least 1 775 in their yard. I believe the likes of Corus and Hansons (formerley ARC) may use Aveling Barfords.
Hope this helps.

Hi Joe,
Merrimans yard is on Whiteley Road, Peasehill, Ripley near to what was Waingroves Brickworks, Theres a footpath runs right next to the yard so you can get a good look!

Hi Joe,
I think that Lafarge Whitwell run 777's - there was an article in Earthmovers about one being rebuilt not so long ago.
