Has anyone out there got any pictures of Blaw Knox pavers from the 70's working in conjunction with the Aveling Barford Master Paviour rollers and Bristowes chipspreader as I remember seeing these as a child.

Hi Ian im sure there are a couple of photos of Paving machines at work on here but canot remember which thread they are in.

I've posted a photo of a AB roller on here but were it is i'll have to think about were it was. :dizzy:

But here is one of an AB model GN at the Vintage excavator Trust Site in Cumbria.

hi all ,
great forum and look forward in reading / catching up , just a brief introduction , im looking for any infomation / pictures on pf 90 blaw knox's or any other bk's from the 60's upwards till present day , same with rollers / chipping machines , old burners , tractairs , etc , or even members who may or is still in the game , reason for this ,like so many others i used to go to work with my father when i was a kid, my dad operated the bk , and sometimes was on the roller , i remember sitting on the other chair on he's machine lol , getting wound up by he's work mates lol but looked after me , my father worked for Constable harts, Tarmac Roadstone (southern )ltd ,late 60's upto the 80's , having spells on Crowleys , Ringways , T E beach , and now J.B Riney all in london southest, i've worked along side him now since mid 90's ,and must say he's great lol , so again i'd be gratfull for any pictures , stories etc ,

hope you dont mind ,but i forgot to put some pictures up from when we was working for T.E Beach surfacing , and my dad on the chipper for Tarmac Roadstone in Ashford Kent ,

I have to say the only experience i have of pavers is having 2 weeks on one years ago .... that was for CRG of Whitstable ... great job for a winters day :lol:
