When did they stop selling Blaw-Knox pavers in UK ? It was once the generic name for all pavers like JCB for backhoe loaders . Company I worked for always used Bitellis.

I think I-R took over Blaw Knox in 1995. I-R became part of Volvo in 2007, "Blaw-Knox" and "ABG" pavers are now sold under the Volvo name.

hi
the footage is a pf90d,same machine as i drove.the footage from british pathe is a pf90c,the earlier version of the d model.the bk90ds came along later.these were slightly larger than the pf series and came with a 6 cylinder ford engine instead of the earlier 4 cylinder.i drove these machines and moved on to be a screwman.this was what generally happened in the trade.i have got lots of photos of these machines and will put them up when i find them.

would love to see those pictures you have please , also my father has been following this thread , he mentions he worked with a mick howes good few years back lol on tarmac roadstone southern , ( greenwich yard ) my father is dave fisher , now in he's 60's lol ( sorry dad lol ) but still in the game , as i work with him to , are you possabley the same person ?
