joe,my D5 and D8 tractors are used at a training school a few times a year at the quarry where they work.Shovels,excavators,dumptrucks,telehandlers and towed scrapers are also trained up there.It wont cost anything like your man.
SLD plant training or something like that is the website.

Ah that's a help from both you and big kit! I dont think I'll be able to do it for a while though! Trying to get myself a place to live is my priority at the minute!

Get and old style tractor and live in the cab like the good ol' days :lol: Plent of room in there......or get a caravan and go travelling like Mervyn. Kill two birds with one stone :lol: :lol: :lol:

That had actually crossed my mind! I'd thought about driving round the country muckshiting on big excavators too but it's never come to fruition

the travellings some setup Joe,when your away you want to be home and when ur home a few days you want to go back,lol.
Anyway this gps malarky certainly makes for a easy life for the dozerman.Im placing capping layer at the moment and the speed you can trim it is unreal.I will take a few pics tomorrow of how to set it up and the screen view from inside the cab

hi lads i am an old newby on here, reading bigkits comments, i remember in the good old days when some of the scraper boys digs were a tarp over the scraper box.
